Film Submissions

Borderless Frames is accepting film submissions for review and consideration.

This program is a curated, skill-based selection process designed to identify and showcase emerging filmmakers. A select number of films are chosen each cycle and recognized with the Borderless Frames Filmmaker Award, which includes an official digital laurel, certificate of recognition, and listing as an official selection on Borderless Frames, along with featured placement across our platforms.

• Open to participants worldwide 
• Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have parent/guardian consent 
• Entrants must hold full rights to all submitted materials, including video, audio, and music 

We accept:

• Short films 
• Narrative films 
• Documentary films 
• Experimental films 
• Visual storytelling projects 

Submissions must:

• Be original or properly licensed 
• Be submitted via a working video link (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) 
• Be between 1 and 20 minutes (recommended, not required) 
• Contain appropriate, non-offensive content 

A non-refundable submission fee is required for each entry.

This fee covers administrative, review, and curation costs associated with evaluating submissions.

Submission does not guarantee selection, feature, or award recognition.

Submissions must be completed through the official website:

Each submission must include:

• Name 
• Film title 
• Country 
• Contact information 
• Film link 
• Optional social media handles 

Incomplete submissions may not be reviewed.

All submissions are reviewed by the Borderless Frames team.

Selections are based on a skill-based evaluation, including:

• Storytelling and narrative strength 
• Direction and creative vision 
• Cinematography and visual composition 
• Editing and pacing 
• Originality and overall impact 

A limited number of films are selected each cycle at the sole discretion of the organizers.

All selected participants are recognized with the Borderless Frames Filmmaker Award, which includes:

• Official digital laurel for use in promotional materials 
• Certificate of recognition 
• Listing as an official selection on Borderless Frames 
• Feature on Borderless Frames platforms 
• Online showcase of their work 

Selected filmmakers will also receive:

• Editorial feature or interview opportunities 

By submitting, participants grant Borderless Frames a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Display, publish, and promote submitted films 
• Share content across digital and editorial platforms 

Participants retain full ownership of their work.

Proper credit will be provided where applicable.

Participants are responsible for:

• Securing all necessary rights and permissions 
• Ensuring submitted material does not infringe on third-party rights 

Borderless Frames is not liable for unauthorized content submitted by participants.

All submission fees are final and non-refundable.

Borderless Frames reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program if necessary.

In such cases, submissions that have not yet been reviewed will be eligible for a refund.

This program is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, TikTok, or any third-party platform.
