1. Overview
Borderless Frames is accepting photography submissions for editorial consideration.
This program is a curated, skill-based selection process designed to identify and showcase emerging photographers. A select number of submissions are chosen each cycle and featured in Emerging Artists Magazine, along with additional exposure across Borderless Frames platforms.
2. Eligibility
- Open to photographers worldwide
- Open to both amateur and professional photographers
- Entrants must be the original creator of all submitted work
- Entrants must be 18 years or older, or have parent/guardian consent
3. What You Can Submit
We accept photography across all styles and genres, including but not limited to:
- Portrait
- Fashion / Editorial
- Street Photography
- Documentary
- Landscape / Nature
- Fine Art
- Architecture
- Still Life
- Conceptual / Experimental
All submissions must be original photographs taken by the entrant.
4. Image Requirements
File Format
Quality
- High-resolution images are strongly recommended
- Images must be clear and properly exported
- No heavy compression or pixelation
Editing
- Basic editing is allowed (color correction, lighting adjustments, cropping)
- AI-generated images are not accepted
5. Submission Limits
- Each submission may include one or multiple images (depending on form structure)
- Multiple entries are allowed, but each must be submitted separately
- Re-submitting the same images does not increase likelihood of selection
6. Submission Fee
A non-refundable submission fee is required for each entry.
This fee covers administrative, review, and curation costs associated with evaluating submissions.
Submission does not guarantee selection or feature.
7. Selection Process
All submissions are reviewed by the Borderless Frames team.
Selections are based on a skill-based evaluation, including:
- Visual impact
- Composition and originality
- Technical quality and clarity
- Storytelling and emotional depth
- Artistic voice and creativity
A limited number of photographers are selected each cycle.
8. Recognition & Features
Selected photographers will receive:
- Feature in Emerging Artists Magazine (Digital Issue)
- Editorial exposure across Borderless Frames platforms
- Credit with name and links to their portfolio or social media
Selected participants may also be considered for:
- Future editorial features
- Additional spotlight opportunities
9. Rights & Usage
Photographers retain full ownership of their work.
By submitting, participants grant Borderless Frames and Emerging Artists Magazine a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Feature submitted images in digital publications
- Display and promote work across official platforms
- Use images for editorial and promotional purposes related to the platform
Proper credit will always be provided.
Borderless Frames does not sell or license submitted images to third parties.
10. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for:
- Ensuring they own full rights to submitted images
- Obtaining permission from any identifiable individuals (if applicable)
- Ensuring content does not infringe on third-party rights
Borderless Frames is not responsible for unauthorized submissions.
11. Content Guidelines
Submissions may be disqualified if they include:
- Stolen or reposted work
- AI-generated images
- Watermarks that obstruct the image
- Hate speech, graphic violence, or explicit content
- Content that violates copyright or ownership laws
12. Notification
- Selected photographers will be contacted via email
- If selected, you may be asked to provide:
- High-resolution versions of your images
- A short bio (optional)
- Portfolio or social media links
13. Refund Policy
All submission fees are final and non-refundable.
14. Program Changes
Borderless Frames reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program if necessary.
In such cases, submissions that have not yet been reviewed will be eligible for a refund.
15. Platform Disclaimer
This program is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, TikTok, or any third-party platform.
16. Agreement to Terms
By submitting, participants confirm that:
- They created the work and own the rights
- They have permission from subjects (if applicable)
- They agree to these Rules & Guidelines
